One Piece is the longest-running anime, aired in 1999 and still ongoing in the 21st century, with 1,034 episodes at present.
Labeled as one of the “Big Three” anime series of all time, One Piece is a force to be reckoned with as it continues to show its relevance despite being released near the start of the 2000s.
Illustrated and written by Japanese mangaka Eiichiro Oda, he first published the first chapter of the manga adapted by its anime counterpart in 1997.
His work would go on later to sell 500+ million copies globally, earning him a Guinness World record in 2015 for “The Most Copies Published for the Same Comic Book Series by a Single Author”.

The episode started with chaos when a cruise ship was attacked by a group of pirates under the leadership of Alvida, and in comes Monkey D. Luffy, the main protagonist of the show.
The said protagonist aspires to travel the world, go on adventures, and become the Pirate King.
Luffy would, later on, meet Nami, a thief, and Zoro, a “Pirate Hunter”, and together would become a pirate crew called “The Straw Hats”.

Luffy, Zoro, and Naomi are starving while just sitting idly in their small boat, unable to do anything. Suddenly, a huge monster attacked the trio’s boat and took away Nami.
On the other hand, Luffy and Zoro got washed up on the shore of an island occupied and exploited by a pirate crew named “Ganzack Pirates”.
Luffy and Zoro would, later on, discover the depressing history of the island from the story of Medaka. He is a resident of the said island, whose father was taken away by the corrupt pirates along with other men of the village to enslave them.
The Straw Hat duo must devise a plan to get Nami back and free the village from their suffering from Ganzack.

291 – In an alternate world situated in the Edo period (Grand Jipang), Rika took in an ill person called by the name Tot-san and nursed him back to health. Luffy, a detective of the region conspired against Buggy the Clown and other corrupt high officials to get rid of him. Rika, who Buggy mistook as Tot-san’s daughter, kidnaps and ransoms her in exchange for Tot-san paying off his debts.
292 – It’s the New Year in Grand Jipang, and in the seventh day of celebration. Trio Nami, Sanji, and Chopper are traveling toward the shogun’s castle to deliver a large number of rice cakes. However, Buggy plans to steal the rice cakes and fails, but then resorts to taking Princess Vivi hostage.
303 – It’s the season of Spring in Grand Jipangu. They have a tradition where the townsfolk goes to have a picnic under a Sakura tree that dates back to 1000 years old. But disaster strikes when the Sakura tree vanishes, and it’s up to Luffy to get the tree back to its rightful place.
406 – The Mikoshi race in Grand Jipang is nearing, and the spirit of rivalry is high. With the winner of the race receiving a million berries as the grand prize, the competitive spirit is at an all-time high. Many competitors try to disrupt other players and cause trouble.
407 – In the previous event of this episode, Luffy and the gang met Brook, a former member of Thriller LTD. He was thrown into a river by his own group for resigning, and the crew decided to help him. Luffy and the gang rebuilt their mikoshi, which was previously destroyed by rival groups, and won.

The crew made it to Water 7. They are now enjoying their well-deserved break after the intense battle with the Marines and the CP0-9 group.
Franky, a.k.a Iron Man Franky, came clean to the Straw Hat crew about the purchase he ordered using the crew’s money. He stole the money to create a “dream ship” and ultimately decided that he would give it to them as a gift.
Their break was cut short when a marine platoon arrived under the leadership of Vice-Admiral Garp. What surprised everyone was when Luffy called Garp “grandfather.”
In the later episodes, the Straw Hats will receive a new ship called “Thousand Sunny” made by Franky and Iceberg. Franky would later join the crew as a new member, and the Straw Hat family continued to grow.

The Straw Hats then heard a cry for help. They draw on sticks to choose who will go with Luffy while the rest keep watch on Thousand Sunny.
