Having a bit of a slow day in the office trying to gather Netherite Ingots, are we? Well, we’ve all been there – no need to worry!
Netherite is the most precious mineral in Minecraft. As expected, this high-ranking categorization of the material makes it very hard to find.
Furthermore, Netherite is the most basic crafting ingredient for Netherite Scrap, which, in turn, is the crafting ingredient for a Netherite Ingot.
Mojang has gone to great lengths to ensure players invest a reasonable amount of time and effort into finding this stuff.
It makes sense, though, since the material allows you to gain access to some of the strongest tools in the entire game!
Don’t worry; we’re here to explain exactly how you can get your hands on some of those Netherite Ingots.
Before we move on, here’s a table explaining all the essential information you’ll need to know about Netherite Ingots.
|Crafting Ingredients||4x Gold Ingots + 4x Netherite Scraps|
|Primary Use||Crafting and Repairing Netherite Weapons|
|Obtaining Method||Crafting or Looting Bastion Remnants|
|Stackable?||Can be Collected in Stacks of 64|
|Flammable?||Immune to Fire and Lava damage|
Follow these steps below to rack up a lot of the material in no time!
How Can You Make Netherite Ingots in Minecraft 1.19?
Netherite Ingots can be crafted by combining 4 Gold Ingots and 4 Netherite Scraps together on a Crafting Table.
These Gold Ingots and Netherite Scraps can be placed in the crafting grid in any formation as this method has no shape restrictions.
A Block of Netherite can also be disassembled to provide 9 Netherite Ingots.
However, this might’ve been a very straightforward explanation, so here’s a step-by-step deep-dive into the crafting method!
Step 1: Obtaining Netherite Scraps
Netherite Scraps are one of the two items required to craft a Netherite Ingot.
As such, before moving on to making the Netherite Ingots, you’ll first have to make a couple of Netherite Scraps.
Netherite Scrap is the product you obtain by smelting Ancient Debris with the help of a Furnace.
If you don’t know how to acquire Ancient Debris, here’s a post explaining all the methods of getting some of the stuff!
Once you’ve obtained some Ancient Debris, throw down a Furnace and place it in. Smelt the Ancient Debris blocks to obtain Netherite Scraps.
Crafting a single Netherite Ingot requires 4 Netherite Scraps.
As such, you should smelt at least that amount so you don’t face any problems later on.
Step 2: Making Gold Ingots
The second ingredient required to make a single Netherite Ingot is a Gold Ingot. 4 Pieces of it, to be exact.
The process of making Gold Ingots is quite similar to Netherite Scraps – it involves the same method of smelting.
Only this time, you’ll be smelting 9 Gold Nuggets instead of Ancient Debris.
Alternatively, you can obtain 9 Gold Ingots by disassembling a single solid Block of Gold.
Gold Nuggets, on the other hand, can be obtained by slaying mobs such as the Zombified Piglin, looting treasure chests in structures like Bastion Remnants and Ruined Portals, or mining Nether Gold Ore.
Whichever way you prefer to opt, ensure that you have at least 4 Gold Ingots so you can effectively craft 1 Netherite Ingot at the very least.
Step 3: Crafting Netherite Ingots
Now that you have all the necessary items, we can move on to the final step.
To craft a Netherite Ingot, place down a Crafting Table and interact with it to pull up the crafting menu.
Here, place in the items you acquired in steps 1 and 2, that is, 4 pieces of Netherite Scraps and the same amount of Gold Ingots.
You can position these items in the crafting grid however you like since making Netherite Ingots has no formation restrictions.
Once you’ve placed the items in, Netherite Ingots will pop up on the right side of the crafting menu to be collected as the product.
That’s about all there is to it, have fun obtaining the most powerful gear available in the game now!
