Arguably being the most precious resource in Minecraft – Netherite Ingots are a sight for sore eyes. Having some of it stockpiled allows you to gain access to the most powerful gear in the game!

These incredible perks of the resource also mean that it’s naturally pretty hard to come by. Nevertheless, today, we’ll cover all the nitty gritty involved in converting your Netherite Scraps into some sweet Netherite Ingots!

How Do You Make Netherite Ingots in Minecraft 1.20?

Combining 4 Gold Ingots and Netherite Scraps on a Crafting Table produces a Netherite Ingot in Minecraft 1.20. These ingredients can be placed on the Crafting Grid without following any pattern restrictions.

As hinted – before you can move on to smelting Netherite Ingots, you’ll need to collect a few Gold Ingots and Netherite Scraps. For every Netherite Ingot you create, you’ll need to collect 4 Netherite Scraps and 4 Gold Ingots each.

Obtaining the Gold Ingots is a relatively easy task – you just need to smelt some Gold Ore. If you’re having trouble finding Gold Ore, here’s an excellent guide to help you get set up and running.

The second and more complicated part is to collect some Netherite Scraps. To do this, you need to obtain Ancient Debris blocks, which can then be smelted into Netherite Scraps using a Furnace. Netherite is a highly scarce mineral, but this guide will help you quickly collect some of it!
