LEGO 60352 City Advent Calendar 2022 Set Confirmed (Images and Analysis)

LEGO advent calendars are always a win, and none more so than the 2022 LEGO City advent calendar.

By the looks of it, they are continuing with the farm theme, as seen in the 2021 calendar. That’s cool though, as you get plenty of great options.

Thanks to the official LEGO website, we have our first real look at this set, and we’re here to break it all down for you!

This is set number 60352, and as with many of the other LEGO calendars, the LEGO City one will be released on September 1st.

It will retail for around $34.99 / £21.99 and contains 287 pieces hidden behind 24 separate doors.

If we’re going to crunch those numbers, that’s around 12 cents / 7p per brick. That’s just short of 12 bricks per door, making it around $1.45 / £0.91s-worth of LEGO behind each door!

So with all that info out of the way, let’s dive in!

Minifigures in the LEGO 60352 City Advent Calendar 2022

LEGO 60352 City Advent Calendar 2022 Minifigures

We have a total of 6 Minifigures confirmed for the 2022 LEGO City advent calendar.

First up is the stall owner looks like he’s ready to sell you some Christmas goodies.

We love the burgundy outfit and like the addition of white hand pieces to represent gloves.

He also comes with a flat-topped hat piece, which always looks great no matter which Minifigure it comes with.

Next up is the big man himself: Santa Claus!

This cool little Minifigure was bound to make an appearance, as he has done in the past several LEGO City calendars.

With a separate hat and beard, it’s one of the best versions of Santa to date.

We get a middle-aged man wearing a tan-colored outfit and sporting a dashing mustache. He certainly looks ready to roast some chestnuts on an open fire.

You’ll notice that he’s wearing some kind of apron, so perhaps he’d be well suited in the kitchen or perhaps some kind of shop/stall scenes.

The Ice Skating Girl can make the most of the cold winter ground, and in her lime green outfit, pink coat, and blue hat, she looks fantastic.

We love the addition of the ice skates on her feet, and the printed skull belt that she’s wearing. Very rock and roll!

Propeller Hat Boy looks ready to post his letter to Santa! This shorter Minifigure depicts a boy wearing a blue outfit and a red hat with a spin-able propeller on top of it.

And finally, we have the Young Girl. This Minifigure sports a bright orange jacket, striped top, blue pants, and pigtails.

Again, she’s a shorter Minifigure, but she’ll fit perfectly into a family scene!

Minifigure thoughts

There might only be 6 Minifigures, but what we get is fantastic. You have enough to create some wintery scenes, and you could even put together a little family if you really wanted to!

Also, hats off to the Santa Claus Minifigure – it’s awesome!

So as far as Minifigures go, we’ve pretty much covered it. Up next are some great extras.

Animals in the 2022 LEGO City Calendar

LEGO 60352 City Advent Calendar 2022 animals

As any good LEGO City fan knows, it’s always important to have plenty of animals.

Whether you’re constructing a farm or perhaps a nice house scene, being able to populate it with animals really brings it to life.

In this calendar set, there is a large white horse, a small gray cat, and a small brown chicken.

All three are single-piece figures and have no moveable parts. Still, they are definitely welcome additions to the set.

They will more than likely be behind their own doors too, as opposed to being bundled in with a Minifigure.

Micro Builds in the 2022 LEGO City Calendar

LEGO 60352 City Advent Calendar 2022 everything

There are two components to LEGO City advent calendars. Firstly there are the Minifigures, which we’ve already talked about. Then there are the micro builds.

These small LEGO sets depict all kinds of things, but it’s good to see that they’re on the same scale as the Minifigures.

This is in contrast to the 2021 calendar where there were quite a few builds that were on a different scale to the Minifigures.

At least when they are correctly scaled they have a lot more play value.

From the image above, we can see a stall, a wreath, a piano, a Christmas tree, a log fire, and a postbox.

Furthermore, there is a rocking horse, some kind of snow scooter, a sleigh that attaches to the back, a snowman, and several boxes of presents.

Micro builds thoughts

There are enough micro builds to create some fun scenes. It’s all very Christmassy and wintery, and most things are perfectly scaled for the Minifigures, meaning they have a lot of play value.

Overall we can’t think of any more micro builds they needed to include!

Final Thoughts

LEGO 60352 City Advent Calendar 2022 open box

Overall we’d say this is a very strong LEGO City set, and the Minifigures and micro builds all knock it out of the park.

From the Minifigures to the micro builds, they’re all fun and in keeping with the LEGO City theme.

Also, it’s super Christmassy, and nothing looks out of place!

It’s going to be a great set to pick up, and for the price, it’s an absolute steal. So it’s two thumbs up from us!
