Should I Watch the Naruto OVAs?
Yes, you can. OVAs are more like side-fillers and can be watched in between the episodes.
However, they are not directly related to the events of the series. You do not need to watch all the OVAs or movies to be kept updated with the flow of events happening in the main series.
What’s After Naruto?
Right after Naruto, viewers can then proceed to Naruto Shippuden. The build-up of the plot is continued in Shippuden, with the characters being featured in their teens.
The next installation of the Naruto-verse is Boruto. The storyline focuses more on Naruto’s son, Boruto.
What is the difference between Naruto and Naruto Shippuden?
The difference between the two series is that in Naruto, it features them as young kids, building up their abilities. On the other hand, Shippuden shows them as teenagers facing bigger problems than the chunin exam.
In Naruto Shippuden, they have progressed into teenagers and cover more about their aspirations, building relationships, and finding themselves and their place in society as ninjas.
This series also features more on the “shounen” side of the series now that they are older, venturing outside the confines of their villages and doing their missions.
So if you are a fan of a more “fight-inducing” series, then Shippuden will be able to satisfy the action that viewers will want to see and be excited for.
