There is no explicit indication in the Demon Slayer anime that states how tall each character is.
But based on creator discussions and fan guesses, their heights can be estimated.
Both Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado are fairly short for anime characters but average for the Demon Slayer series. Tanjiro is 5’5″ (165.1 cm) while Nezuko Kamado is a short 5″ (152.4 cm).
Zen’itsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira are both 5’5″ (165.1 cm) while Muzan Kibutsuji is an intimidating 5’10” (177.8 cm).
However, as the series progresses, these heights may eventually change.
Demon Slayer is currently on its 2nd season (plus a movie!) Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has taken the complex characters from the original manga series and has developed them further.
Now, fans wait eagerly for the 3rd series to be released.

It is not clear how tall Tanjiro Kamado is during the first few episodes of Demon Slayer season 1 as he is still a child, but by season 1 episode 3, he is 5’5″ (165.1 cm).
Though he is shorter than other Demon Slayer Corps characters, he is still a dominating force. Tanjiro gets the job done quickly and effectively.
The death of his family and the demonization of Tanjiro’s little sister Nezuko acts as the starting point for the whole series. Through determination and uncompromising will, Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps with the hopes of finding a cure for his sister and enacting revenge on other demons.
As the younger sister of Tanjiro by a year, it makes sense that Nezuko Kamado would be smaller than her older brother at only 5″ (152.4 cm).
Nezuko is not the smallest character in Demon Slayer, but her height does make her seem more vulnerable. Since being turned into a demon at 12 years old, Nezuko has not physically aged, hence why she is still fairly small.
Zen’itsu Agatsuma is a year older than Tanjiro, but he is the same height as him standing at 5’5″ (165.1 cm).
Even though he is the same height as Tanjiro, Zen’itsu is perceived to be a lot shorter due to his cowardness. Tanjiro, on the other hand, has a confident personality making him seem much taller than Zen’itsu.
Zen’itsu is not a skilled swordsman in the same sense as the other Demon Slayer Corps characters and he is very cowardly.
Also measuring 5’5″ (165.1 cm), Inosuke Hashibira is a skilled Demon Slayer. His height conceals his strength well but in no way limits it.
Inosuke has a unique backstory. Raised by boars in the wild, he has the expert ability of scent and can rearrange his body to suit his needs.
He lacks social skills and picks fights with anyone willing but Inosuke does start to work through this when he joins the Demon Slayer Corps.
Despite being older than Nezuko by 2 years, Kanao Tsuyuri barely surpasses her height. She is only an inch taller than Nezuko at 5’1″ (154.9 cm).
Kanao’s fearless intellect is often played down due to her closed-off personality. Like Inosuke, she does start to open up more as the anime progresses but still prefers not to influence decisions made by others.
Though the younger of the Schinazugawa brothers, Gen’ya is the taller. In fact, at 5’11 (180.3 cm), he is one of the tallest teens in the whole anime.
His height does serve to intimate those around him, which isn’t softened by his moody, hot-headed personality. Gen’ya’s temper does recede a little as the series progresses, but his height does not become any less intimidating.
Sanemi Shinazugawa may be 5 years older than his brother Gen’ya, but he is slightly shorter, measuring 5’10” (177.8 cm).
If Gen’ya is hot-tempered, then Sanemi is simply aggressive, which doesn’t help his status as the Wind Hashira. He is responsible for the death of their mother which tore the two brothers apart – even if Sanemi killed her to protect his younger brother.
At the start of season 1, Giyu ages from 19 in the first few episodes to 21 when he appears again in episode 15. But his height stays the same: 5’9″ (175.3 cm).
Giyu is one of the older members of the Demon Slayer Corps. His status is not necessarily reflected in his height like tends to be the case in Attack on Titan, but instead in his strength.
However, he is much taller than Tanjiro and the other main characters. This can make his disinterest in other characters seem like intimidation but he is actually a gentle, caring guy.
Shinobu Kocho’s 4’11” (149.9 cm) height very much works in her favor as her cute and calm appearance conceals a vicious personality.
When we are first introduced to Shinobu, she is a smiling delight. But her witty tongue soon pulls down older, taller Demon Slayers Corps members with a few words.
This cruelty is not necessarily driven by her status as the Insect Hashira but by her pure hatred for demons.
One of the tallest and oldest Demon Slayer Corps characters, Tengen Uzui towers 6’6″ (198.1 cm) which is significantly taller than Tanjiro and Nezuko.
When he is introduced in the series, his height can be both intimidating and reassuring.
Tengen is a complex character to pin down. His father trained him to be a ruthless ninja, tricking him into killing his siblings to achieve self-fulfillment. Once he could get out of his father’s clutches, Tengen started to break his father’s habits.
Also known as the Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji’s average height of 5’6″ (167.6 cm) is the only average thing about her.
Mitsuir’s height is the last thing fans care about, what with her bright pink and green hair and matching enchanting green eyes.
She may have only appeared in the show a few times so far, but she has been very impactful on Tanjiro’s character development.
Though he is the Serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro is fairly small for a male character in Demon Slayer, standing at only 5’4″ (162.6 cm).
It is yet to be determined just how powerful Obanai is, but considering he is a Hashira, it can be assumed that is he is highly skilled. Even if his only real skill shown so far is that of mystery.
Senjurō Rengoku is only 12 when season 1 starts, which is why he is only 5’1″ (154.9 cm) tall.
Despite coming from a long line of Flaming Hashiras, Senjurō is not a skilled Demon Slayer. He does try his best to follow in his family’s footsteps but quickly comes up short.
Despite being the same age as Nezuko, Muichiro Tokito is slightly taller at 5’3″ (160 cm). However, unlike Nezuko, Muichiro is very standoffish.
He is the Mist Harisha but lacks the social skills that most of the other Harishas have. This is not due to a lousy personality but rather a lack of memory.
Before the series starts, Muchiro undergoes a tragic event that erases his memories. He is not closed-off because of a tragic past but because he can not remember how to express his emotions.
Gyumei Himejima is the tallest character in Demon Slayer so far at 7’2″ (218.4 cm), though he is yet to become an established character.
Very little is known about Gyumei at this point. However, based on the Demon Slayer manga, he is a very strong, dedicated Demon Slayer Corps member.
What the anime has shown so far is that he is the Stone Harisha.
Kyojuro Rengoku is one of the taller characters in the show at 5’10 (177.8 cm).
Kyojuro can simply be described as a good guy. His charm and ability to see the best in a bad situation sets a nice change of pace to the gloomy backstories of many of the other characters.
It is never made clear in the show just how tall Sabito is before he dies early on in the series.
What we do know is that Sabito’s teachings will have a lasting impact on Tanjiro and his demon-slaying capabilities.
Sabito pushed Tanjiro to his limits during his short time teaching the Demon Slayer Corps member and Tanjiro’s full potential was realized.
Muzan Kibutsuji is clearly the main antagonist in the Demon Slayer series even though he has only appeared a few times so far. Part of his impact is his height of 5’10” (177.8 cm) which is one of the tallest in the show.
However, what really drives his antagonistic quality home is his uncaring temper and willingness to kill even his own people. He is set up to be the perfect heartless villain.
From the power he has exhibited so far, the Demon Slayer Corps crew will have to up their game to defeat Muzan and his band of demons.
Another character that is yet to make an appearance more than a few times, Tamayo is thought to be 4’11” (149.9 cm).
What we do know of Tamayo is that despite her short stature, she had the skill and guts to try and kill Muzan.
She was unsuccessful but did manage to break away from Muzan’s control, focusing her powers now on medicine and pharmaceuticals.
Unlike other demons, Yushirō Yamamoto was made by Tamayo and not Muzan. Perhaps this is why he is shorter than many of the other demons at only 5’2″ (157.5 cm).
Yushirō may not be strong enough to kill Muzan, but he was strong enough to prevent him from changing into his demon form with the help of some Demon Slayers, partly because Muzan has no control over Yushirō.
Despite being a demon, Yushirō has shown to be working on being a good guy. He has somehow made it possible to survive without hunting humans and even help to heal Tanjiro from the brink of death.
Rather small for a Demon Slayer Corps member at 5’4″ (162.6 cm), Aoi Kazaki is shown to be a little weaker than some of the other members.
Because of this, she doesn’t fight demons but does work at the Butterfly Mansion and is an important member.
To make up for her lack of skill, Aoi is very tough, pushing Tanjiro and his friends to their limits in training.
Introduced in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Movie – Mugen Train, Akaza is moderately tall 5’8″ (172.7 cm), and is one of the tallest characters introduced yet.
In the movie, his fight with Rengoku was certainly one to remember, with his height helping him show his brute strength.
It is unclear how tall Daki is as she is often in her demon form, which warps the character’s appearance. She is taller than Tanjiro but a lot shorter than Muzan, so fans estimate that she stands at around 5’7″ (170.2 cm).
Daki is one of the main villains of Demon Slayer, though her cold-heartedness is less because of her nature and more because she wants to earn Muzan’s praise.
She is a very powerful demon being part of the Upper 6. Her brother Gyutaro was responsible for her demonization though rather than tearing them apart, the act made them inseparable.
Like his sister, it is hard to tell Gyuatro’s true height. But based on other characters, he looks to be as tall as Muzan – 5’10” (177.8 cm).
Gyutaro is one of the more gruesome-looking demons that has shown up in the anime so far with a brutal personality to match.
Kagaya Ubuyashiki hasn’t been in the Demon Slayer anime enough to really distinguish her height.
What is clear is that the Ubuyashiki family is very powerful with the ability to have foresight into the future. That is why Kagaya is able to make guesses that turn out to be true.
As one of the oldest characters in the anime series, Sakoji Urokodaki’s height reflects not just his age but also his power at 5’8″ (172.7 cm) tall.
Sakoji used to be the Water Hashira until he passed the title onto Giyu. Still, he is the main teacher of the water breathing technique for the demon slayers.
