How Tall Are the Boruto Characters: Height Chart & Analysis

It is difficult to tell exactly how tall the characters in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations are, but based on the heights of the original Naruto characters, we can take an educated guess.

Boruto Uzumaki is thought to be 4’9″ (144.8 cm) – the same height as Naruto at the beginning of Naruto part 1. As for the rest of the main Boruto trio, Sarada is an estimated 4’10” (147.3 cm) while Mitsuki is 4’11” (149.9 cm).

Shino Aburame is one of the tallest Boruto characters at 6’1″ (185.4 cm), easily towering over his students at the academy.

The sequel series to Naruto, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations follows Naruto’s son on his journey to becoming the greatest ninja of all time.

Boruto may follow a similar path to Naruto, but the show’s varied characters set in a post-world war makes for a unique story.

Boruto Uzumaki

Boruto Uzumaki

The title character of the series, Boruto Uzumaki is 4’9″ (144.8 cm) which is a typical height for a Boruto character of 12 years old.

Boruto is the child of Naruto and Hinata, although he takes after Naruto in terms of his high energy and bravery.

Like his father, Boruto progresses through the series and becomes an impressive shinobi by dedicating himself to his village and his skills. Boruto has real potential to one day be as powerful as his father.

Sarada Uchiha

Sarada Uchiha

Sarada Uchiha is 4’10” (147.3 cm) in Boruto. This is slightly shorter than how tall both of her parents – Sasuke and Sakura – were at 12 years old.

Though Sarada is the perfect combination of the two in every other way from her looks to her ninja skills.

One of the only main characters in the series born outside of Konohagakure (Konoha), Sarada does not hesitate to snap at the first sign of injustice. She is quick-witted and caring, making her a great rival/ best friend for Boruto.

Mitsuki

Mitsuki

The final addition to the main Boruto trio and member of Team Konohamaru is Mitsuki. He is taller than Sarada and Boruto at 4’11” (149.9 cm) and is the same age.

Mitsuki did not have the same loving upbringing as his best friends. He was one of Orochimaru’s clones but he does not hold the same violence as his creator.

Instead, Mitsuki is a kind and gentle character, only becoming merciless if one of his friends has been hurt.

Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto Uzumaki

In Boruto, Naruto Uzumaki is 5’11” (180.3 cm), which is significantly taller than when we left Naruto at the end of his own journey 15 years prior to Boruto.

How Tall is Naruto in Boruto Anime

The title character of the original anime series, Naruto has turned into a dedicated father and passionate Hokage of Konoha. He has given Boruto the love that he could never receive from his own father.

Naruto is highly respected by pretty much every character in Boruto. He is looked up to (both physically and figuratively) by ninjas young and old, including his old mentor Kakashi Hatake.

Sakura Uchiha (Haruno)

Sakura Uchiha

Unlike Naruto, Sakura Uchiha (previously Sakura Haruno) has grown only a couple of inches in the 15 years since the end of Naruto. She is 5’5” (165.1 cm) in Boruto.

However, when it comes to her personal growth, Sakura has excelled. She is easily one of the strongest Boruto characters in a physical and emotional sense, despite still being one of the shortest adults.

Konohamaru Sarutobi

Konohamaru Sarutobi

In the Boruto series, Konohamaru Sarutobi is 5’10” (177.8 cm). He did appear in Naruto a few times but was a few years younger than Naruto so he didn’t have as much screentime.

As the grandson of the Third Hokage of Konoha (Hiruzen Sarutobi), Konohamaru wishes to carry on his family’s legacy and become a Hokage. An ambition that he is in the process of achieving as he mentors Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki.

Compared to previous team leaders such as Kakashi Hatake, Konohamaru takes a much more hands-on approach with his teaching.

Himawari Uzumaki

Himawari Uzumaki

Himawari Uzumaki is 4’6″ (137.2 cm) in the Boruto series.

She is the younger sister of Boruto by 2 years and the youngest child of Naruto and Hinata. Despite their age difference, Himawari is keen to spend lots of time with her older brother.

Though Boruto is the one in training to be a ninja when the series begins, it is Himawari who already shows amazing powers at 10 years old, having inherited Hinata’s byakūgan.

Kawaki

Kawaki

A few years older and taller than Boruto’s central trio, Kawaki stands at 5’2″ (157.5 cm).

Kawaki had a much different upbringing from the other young ninjas. He was raised to be the future Isshiki Ōtsutsuki vessel by the Kara. But after escaping the Kara, Kawaki was taken in by the Uzumaki’s as a sort of adoptive son and experienced a family without abuse.

Shikadai Nara

Shikadai Nara

Shikadai Nara studies alongside Boruto in the academy but is taller than the main character at 5’1″ (154.9 cm).

His slacking tendencies and unenthusiastic attitude means that Shikadai and Boruto end up clashing more often than not.

Shikadai is the ‘Shika’ element to the seventeenth generation Ino-Shika-Chō trio. This is a position that makes Shikadai want to make his clan proud, even if at first his attitude hints otherwise.

Cho-Cho Akimichi

Cho-Cho Akimichi

Cho-Cho Akimichi is the shortest seventeenth generation Ino-Shika-Chō trio member at 4’9″ (149.9 cm).

There are several jokes that are made through the series about Cho-cho’s parents not being her birth parents as they are so physically different. Her father is the fat, food-obsessed comic relief of the show while her mother is extremely thin, neither of which are reflected in Cho-Cho.

Because of this, Cho-cho chooses to forge her own life path separate from her parents and is often self-centered about making her own way.

Inojin Yamanaka

Inojin Yamanaka

Measuring 4’10” (147.3 cm), Inojin Yamanaka is the final member of the Ino-Shika-Chō trio in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

Inojin seems to be the only one out of the trio that goes above and beyond when it comes to their training. He actually attends training consistently, unlike some of the other ninjas, which is clearly reflected in his ninja progress as the series goes on.

Hinata Uzumaki (Hyūga)

Hinata Uzumaki

Hinata Uzumaki (formerly Hinata Hyūga) remains the shortest of the main Naruto gang at only 5’3” (160 cm) in Boruto. This is only a little taller than her adoptive son, Kawaki. But do not mistake her shortness for weakness.

Towards the end of Naruto part 2, Hinata learns to become confident in her ninja abilities. A lesson that has clearly paid off in Boruto.

She is a stable force in Boruto for her entire family, carrying the confidence and weight of being a mother and protector admirably.

Sasuke Uchiha

Sasuke Uchiha

Though he was always taller than Naruto, Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto were the same height at the end of Naruto part 2. This remains true in Boruto, where Sasuke is also 5’11” (180.3 cm).

Sasuke is arguably the character that has grown most out of all of the original Naruto cast, even if he is physically on par with Naruto and Kakashi.

After Sasuke’s emotional turmoil throughout Naruto, he has finally grown into a loyal protector of Konoha. But he is still trying to figure out how to make amends for his past while being there for his family.

Shino Aburame

Shino Aburame

At 6’1″ (185.4 cm), Shino Aburame is the tallest character on this list. He was a supporting character in the original Naruto series as a friend of Naruto himself, but Shino holds more significance in Boruto.

Shino’s height and his quiet, closed-off demeanor makes him an intimidating teacher at the academy. And rightly so!

Shino is an extremely powerful insect-skilled ninja whose powers are often overlooked.

Ino Yamanaka

Ino Yamanaka

Despite her short 5’3″ (160 cm) stature, Ino Yamanaka is a strong leader, heading the team tasked with defending Konoha’s barriers.

Like Shino, Ino was part of the original Naruto series but plays a far more prominent role in Boruto. Her loyalty and ruthless leadership skills make her an admirable mother and commander.

Kakashi Hatake

Kakashi Hatake

Kakashi Hatake is one of the only characters in Boruto that has remained the same height (5’11” (180.3 cm)) from his first appearance in Naruto part 1 through into Boruto.

Though he doesn’t play as much of a role in Boruto’s journey, Kakashi is still there to offer advice and to help Boruto reach his goals.

Kakashi is shown to be stepping down from his position as Hokage at the beginning of Boruto, letting Naruto take over and setting the story of Boruto into motion.
