15 Strongest Attack on Titan Human Characters, Ranked

15 Strongest Attack on Titan Human Characters, Ranked

In a world where giant titans devour mankind like candy, the human race has taken a stand to save itself. A typical human battles a 3-15-meter titan to save humanity.

While the titans are all monstrously strong (also see the strongest titans ranked), the humans who oppose them are stronger than one would expect.

Below, we’ve ranked these characters from weakest to strongest (excluding Titans shifters).

15. Dot Pixis

Dot Pixis

Commander Pixis was many things: humorous, eccentric, intelligent, strategic, and one of the series’ best commanders. We never got to see him in action with a titan, but he had full authority when it came to defense, as his insights/strategies helped the military win on multiple occasions.

Commander Pixis was genuinely interested in the advancement of humanity and would be willing to give up his humanity to effect change in the world.

Later in the series, after drinking Zeke’s spinal fluid, he was turned into a Pure Titan during the Marleyan surprise attack on Shiganshina District and was killed by Armin Arlelt.

We never imagined such a great man would die in this manner. But it was a fantastic journey.

14. Floch Forster

Floch Forster

Floch Forster was a former Survey Corps trainee and the only war survivor. After discovering the truth, Floch developed a hatred for humanity outside the Walls.

He was a notable Yeagrist and the de-facto leader of the faction. He believes Eren is the only one who can save the “New Eldian Empire” and is willing to die for the cause. Despite his differing views on what is genuinely good, Floch was a strong soldier.

13. Marco Bott

Marco Bott

Marco Bott was a 104th Training Corps trainee who graduated as the seventh-highest ranked trainee in his class. After the breach of Trost District, he was deployed to combat Titans during citizen evacuation and granted command of his unit.

Marco was a natural-born leader, well-suited to his ambitions of joining the Military Police Brigade. Unlike some who joined the Military Police Brigade for protection and perks, his motivation for joining was genuine devotion to the king.

Marco overheard Reiner and Bertolt discussing their roles as the Titans that stormed the wall during the Trost District breach operation. Marco confronted them about their talk, thinking it was a joke and was ambushed by Reiner and left for dead with no gear. He was then eaten alive by a titan.

12. Magath Theo

Magath Theo

For over two decades, Magath has served in the Marleyan military. Early in his career, he was considered one of the best artillerymen in the Marleyan military. He eventually served as one of the Warrior program’s top overseers, then as the Marley army’s Eldian Unit commander, and finally as the Marleyan military’s general.

Magath, as one of the warrior program’s overseers, zealously trained the Eldian warriors, imbuing them with potential. Despite his ignorance and stubbornness, Theo sacrificed himself together with Keith Shadis so that those they trained could work together to save the world.

11. Gabi Braun

Gabi Braun

Gabi is a member of Marley’s Warrior special army. This unit comprises potential troops candidates to be the Titan Shifters’ successors. Despite her age, Gabi’s abilities are significantly superior to the ordinary Marley troops.

Gabi’s incredible feats include dismantling the Titan anti-steel chariot on her own, murdering one of the Survey Corps members (Sasha Blouse), shooting Eren’s head off, and killing wild Titans with a rifle. She’s a raw gem with the potential to become the strongest in the series.

10. Sasha Blouse

Sasha Blouse

Sasha, popularly known as the “Potato Girl,” was one of the series’ most popular characters. She is well-known for her passion for food and enthusiasm. Despite her gluttonous habits, Sasha was a capable soldier who could not stand by while others were in danger.

Sasha was rather simple-minded and eccentric, yet she had a keen intuition. She was also unexpectedly brave and a good judge of danger and situations.

Sasha was a 104th Training Corps trainee who graduated as the class’s ninth highest-ranked trainee. She grew up to become a capable soldier and an excellent sharpshooter.

Unfortunately, she was killed by a teenage Eldian warrior, Gabi. Fans were devastated by her passing as she was everyone’s favorite.

9. Connie Springer

Connie Springer

Due to his small stature and fondness for goofing off during training, we never anticipated Conny to turn out to be so tough.

Conny was one of the best students in his class due to his natural talent and skills with the ODM gear. He was also swift in fighting, to the point where he rarely needed to confront a Titan directly throughout a fight.

Connie has survived many conflicts and numerous dangerous confrontations while serving in the Survey Corps; surviving so many battles is noteworthy, especially when more experienced teammates have died. Call it luck, but Connie is strong.

One must also commend his impressive mental fortitude. He witnessed his parents and city transform into titans. Still, he continues to battle for humanity with his head held high.

8. Jean Kirstein

Jean Kirstein

Jean is a capable soldier, an adept leader, and a skilled marksman. He’s second to Armin in terms of tactical and strategic thinking and has mastered the ODM gear to the point that he can effortlessly maneuver on open terrain.

Although he was initially snobbish and rigid, his character development led him to become one of the most fiercely devoted fighters in the series.

Jean’s levelheadedness remains a continuous core to any unit he is a part of, despite not being as strong in combat as Mikasa or as powerful as a titan.

7. Keith Shadis

Keith Shadis

Keith was the Survey Corps’ 12th Commander, the direct predecessor of Erwin Smith, and the only Commander in the corps’ history to resign before death. Upon resigning as commander, he became the head instructor of the Military Training Corps.

He was in charge of training and evaluation to become soldiers. Keith purposefully portrayed himself to the cadets as imposing, severe, and frightening as an instructor in order to properly train them. He was a fantastic instructor who helped the 104th Squad become the unit it is now.

Keith was enthralled with the world outside the Walls. This piqued his interest, prompting him to join the Survey Corps and cultivate a self-righteous persona.

Keith sacrificed himself to help stop the rumbling from flattening the earth. He died a dignified death and may not be recognized for his actions because no one knows what he did. However, his memory will live on in our hearts.

6. Hange Zoe

Hange Zoe

Hange was the 14th commander of the Survey Corps, named so by Erwin Smith before his death. Unlike the majority of the other characters in the story, Hange cared about and was fascinated by the titans.

She wanted to research them and study the Titan’s biology to understand their extraordinary abilities better. It eventually became an obsession.

As the story progressed, she got more serious and became stronger. Hange sometimes thought Erwin made the wrong decision in naming her captain due to the pressure.

She is, nonetheless, a brave soldier and a formidable captain. She gave her life to give her allies more time to flee from Eren and his army of Colossal giants.

5. Mike Zacharias

Mike Zacharias

Mike Zacharias didn’t get much chance to show off his prowess and expertise since the Beast Titan killed him. As a result, viewers will have to trust Paradis’ word that Mike is only second to Levi when fighting titans.

That type of reputation does not come easily. When confronted with the Beast Titan, Mike had a nervous breakdown, but he could shrug it off quickly; however, it was too late as his legs were already crushed.

Regardless, his survival as the vanguard of the Survey Corps should suffice as proof of his abilities.

Mike showed to be a tough soldier during his time in the Survey Corps. This young soldier possessed a keen sense of smell, allowing him to identify Titans from afar.

4. Erwin Smith

Erwin Smith

Erwin Smith was the Survey Corps’ 13th commander, and he was quickly the best commander in the entire series. He is known for his outstanding leadership, inspiring speeches, brilliant strategic mind, and drive to save humanity.

Erwin Smith dedicated his entire life to the advancement of humanity, even if it meant sacrificing his soldiers and himself. Erwin had his personal ideals behind his confident and unwavering drive, which included discovering the truth about the titans and the world.

3. Kenny Ackerman

Kenny Ackerman

Kenny is a former serial killer and the captain of the Anti-Personnel Control Squad in the Military Police Regiment. As an Ackerman, Kenny possesses a razor-sharp instinct and distinct Ackerman strength. Moreover, he showed his strength, not to Titans but to humans instead.

Kenny’s desire for power shaped his personality. He was a ruthless guy who would do anything to accomplish his goals, including murdering children and betraying his allies.

Kenny was Levi Ackerman’s maternal uncle, and he had taught him how to survive the Underground as a child before abandoning him. He went toe-to-toe with Levi, only to be stopped by a flash of brilliance from Levi.

2. Mikasa Ackerman

Mikasa Ackerman

Yet another Ackerman descendent. Mikasa was the most skilled member of the 104th Cadet Corps and rose to become one of the Survey Corps’ most valued soldiers, rivaling Levi Ackerman.

Mikasa steadily closes the gap between herself and humanity’s strongest soldier, Levi. She is probably not as strong as Levi due to her battle experience. Despite her lack of battle experience, this girl is already tough enough in terms of physical strength far beyond ordinary humans and high fighting reflexes.

Mikasa steadily closes the distance between herself and Levi, humanity’s strongest soldier. Because of her war history, she is probably not as strong as Levi. Despite her lack of combat experience, this girl possesses physical power well above regular people and swift fighting reflexes.

However, Mikasa’s genetic tendency to protect Eren proves to be a vulnerability as she becomes emotionally compromised.

1. Levi Ackerman

Levi Ackerman

The strongest character in the Attack on Titan series is Levi Ackerman. As captain, Levi earned a reputation for being the strongest soldier humanity has ever seen.

Titan hunting is usually done in groups. However, Levi prefers to take them one-on-one, leaving the rest to his crew. Don’t be deceived by his small stature; he’s a Titan killing machine gone wild.

Levi excels in every facet of fighting and survival, having led a life of crime on the streets before joining the Scout Regiment.

Kenny Ackermann saw talent in him at an early age, and he inherited the family gifts of ancestral battle memory and the ability to harness Titan’s power.
