Disney has been inventive with the creation of its characters for decades, and now they are some of the best-known names in the movies.

Kaa (The Jungle Book)

Kaa is an enormous snake living in the jungle and very keen to make Mowgli his lunch!

He uses his hypnotic eyes to lure prey close enough to eat.

The man-cub is saved from the snake on various occasions.

Kai (Frozen)

Kai is the overseer of the castle of Arendelle and has helped many of its rulers over the years.

He is one of the few in the kingdom who knows about Elsa’s powers and helps keep them secret and safe.

Kala (Tarzan)

Kala is the matriarch of the gorilla group with her husband Kerchak.

She is devastated when her baby is killed by a leopard.

When Tarzan shows up, she adopts him as her own.

Kanga is Christopher Robin’s stuffed Kangaroo.

Ken is one of the toys at Sunnyside Day Care who is part of Lotso’s gang.

Kenai (Brother Bear)

Kenai was a member of the Inuk tribe, but he becomes a bear after becoming obsessed with tracking down the bear who he thought killed his brother Sitka.

As a bear, he comes into conflict with his other brother Denahi, who thinks that he is the bear who killed him.

Kerchak (Tarzan)

Kerchak is the leader of the gorilla group and the husband of Kala, who adopts the baby Tarzan, though Kerchak initially refuses to accept him.

The gorilla eventually gains respect for Tarzan when he kills the leopard Sabor.

But their relationship becomes rocky again when Jane shows up.

Kida (Atlantis)

Kida is the princess of Atlantis, but she is blocked from entering the city.

She engages with Milo and the expedition when they arrive looking for the lost city.

With Milo’s help, she becomes Queen of Atlantis and starts to rebuild the city and its culture.

The King (Cars)

Strip “The King” Weathers is a veteran race car who is soon due to retire when he finds himself in a tie-break race with Lightning McQueen and Chick Hicks.

He tries to teach McQueen that a racer is nothing without his team.

The King is the ruler of the kingdom in which Cinderella lives and the father of Prince Charming.

Chicken Little and his friends encounter the alien baby Kirby on a spaceship.

The chicken Klucky is the lady in waiting for Maid Marian.

Knowsmore is the mascot of the search engine of the same name.

Kocoum (Pocahontas)

Kacoum is a warrior in Pocahontas’ tribe who is engaged to be married to the daughter of the chief and become the next chief of the Powhatan.

Kacoum intends to lead the warriors against the newcomers, and later attacks John Smith when he sees him kissing Pocahontas.

Koda (Brother Bear)

Koda saves the new bear Kenai from a snare.

The two form a friendship with Koda teaching Kenai bear ways and Kenai protecting the young Koda, who has been separated from his mother.

Kenai later reveals that he was the one who killed Koda’s mother and chooses to stay a bear so that Koda will not be alone.

Kristoff (Frozen)

Kristoff is an orphaned Sami who was raised by the trolls.

He later falls for Anna. She shows him that other humans can be trusted.

He helps Anna reunite with her sister Elsa and put an end to the eternal winter.

Kronk (The Emperor’s New Groove)        

Kronk is a servant of the witch Yzma and often acts as a henchman in her schemes, but often fumbles them.

When commanded to kill Kuzco, the devil and angel on his shoulders give him conflicting messages, eventually causing him to turn on Yzma.
